Boy, do we love toys! And the Toy Collectors Auctions at Wessex Auction Rooms have become something of a phenomenon. As specialists in the field we travel throughout the UK and Europe to consign everything from extensive collections to single items. Our toy department is headed up by our Director and BBC TV expert Tim Weeks, & his passion for toys guarantees that your items will receive the commitment that they require and deserve. As well as writing a monthly column for The Collector's Gazette, Tim regularly contributes to magazines, websites, radio shows and blogs around the world.

Traditional toys such as original Corgi, Dinky & Matchbox die-cast model vehicles, model railway, steam engines, teddies & dolls, Scalextric, games and Meccano are still going strong. While the new interest in 70’s, 80’s & 90’s collectable toys to include TV related action figures such as Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, MASK, Thundercats, Six Million Dollar Man, Batman, Lego and more have helped the Toy Collectors market become one of the most vibrant, exciting and current areas of collectables. We also include items such as trading cards (including Pokemon), and comics as a section within these specialist auctions.

We hold nine specialist toy auctions each year and are accepting entries Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with no appointment necessary. We love to see new toys and new collections and our specialist valuers are always available to offer free no obligation advice either at our auction house, via email or by arranging a home visit appointment. We can travel across Europe so you are never too far away.
