Speedmaster steals the show

Silence fell upon a packed saleroom at our Silver, Gold, Jewellery, Watches & Coins auction here at Wessex Auction Rooms on November 4th as the star lot of the day took centre stage.

Bids came thick and fast on the scarce 1969 Omega Speedmaster, and despite the need for considerable restoration, four telephone bidders battled it out until the hammer eventually came down at £5000
