Chinese bronze peaks interest
Nov 28, 2016
Day one of our two day Antiques, Furniture, and Collectables auction this week features an item that is sure to create interest from collectors around the world
This Chinese bronze wine vessel is believed to be from the Zhou Dynasty and has been consigned to auction by a private collector from Wiltshire
The piece was brought back from China by an archaeologist in the 1920's, but the history before that time is unknown.
With an estimate of £3000-5000 and a host of enquiries already made from various corners of the globe, all eyes will be on the rostrum on Friday evening when it goes under the hammer...
